About Stone Buffalo
Our Story
Stone Buffalo started out as just a group of friends in DFW who lived for heavy riffs and loud music. What began as us just hanging out and jamming has turned into a full-on garage rock band that hits like a Texas thunderstorm. We grew up on the grit and heat of the Metroplex and we’ve taken that energy out of the garage and onto the stage to become one of the loudest live acts in North Texas.
The Show
We aren’t interested in just playing through a setlist because we are there to take over the room. When we plug in we want a massive wall of sound that hits you right in the chest with loud guitars and a rhythm section that rattles your ribcage. We bring enough gear to make sure that from the front row to the very back of the room you feel the vibration the second the first riff drops. If it isn’t loud then it isn’t Stone Buffalo.
Meet The Band
Dirk is our frontman and the engine of the show who knows exactly how to get the crowd moving the second he hits the mic. Ryan is on lead guitar bringing all the grit and shredding through the noise with solos that hit hard every time. Carlos holds down the low end and thumps the bass with a heavy feel that keeps the rest of us in check. Then you have Tony on the drums creating the groove that really drives our sound and keeps the band moving. We are just four friends who love making music and we turned that into a high energy live experience for the DFW scene.
